Pregnancy Centre - Test Positive!

isobel-quietwatersHappily, most pregnancies are welcomed and celebrated. But for you, an unplanned pregnancy may have become a crisis. Suddenly your world has turned upside down. your plans for the future, your relationships, your education, your career, and your wellbeing are threatened.

A Painful Dilemma

painfulFew women readily choose to terminate their pregnancy and may find the thought distressing, but when facing an unplanned pregnancy, many feel there is no alternative.

It is hard to think about the positive aspects of having a baby in such circumstances, and the responsibility of becoming a parent can feel unwelcome or even frightening. The practical, economic and emotional aspects of managing life with a child may appear overwhelming.

For some, adoption can be an alternative to both parenting and abortion. Choosing to have the baby adopted may mean that their child will have the life they want for him or her, but the thought of giving away a baby after giving birth may seem unbearable.
