Quiet Waters grew out of the concern of local churches for our neighbours - particularly for the hurting and lonely in our community, and depends on the support of the wider Christian community to continue its work. Besides volunteering and making a donation, local churches, groups and individuals can help in a number of ways.
Letting People Know We Are Here
Know someone who might benefit from one of our services? If you are aware of someone why not give them our number – 01324 670 600 or our website address www.quiet-waters.org, so they can find the help they need.
Perhaps you would also consider helping us make the services available to your local community by placing a poster or making leaflets or cards available in your church, offices, or other suitable location.
Lending A Hand
Can you lend a hand?
In our work with the hurting and lonely in our community we often come across a need for practical help of various kinds and befriending that are outwith the scope of Quiet Waters counselling and support services. The assistence required is however often something a local church or group could provide for the young pregnant mums, the sick and their carers, the bereaved, and the lonely we meet.
