Quiet Waters grew out of the concern of local churches for our neighbours - particularly for the hurting and lonely in our community, and depends on the support of the wider Christian community to continue its work. Besides volunteering and making a donation, local churches, groups and individuals can help in a number of ways.
- Letting People Know We Are Here
Know someone who might benefit from one of our services? If you are aware of someone why not give them our number – 01324 630643 or our website address www.quiet-waters.org, so they can find the help they need.
Perhaps you would also consider helping us make the services available to your local community by placing a poster or making leaflets or cards available in your church, offices, or other suitable location.
- Lending A Hand
Can you lend a hand?
In our work with the hurting and lonely in our community we often come across a need for practical help of various kinds and befriending that are outwith the scope of Quiet Waters counselling and support services. The assistence required is however often something a local church or group could provide for the young pregnant mums, the sick and their carers, the bereaved, and the lonely we meet.
